Grand Forks recreational pool is transformed for Spooky Swim

They’re not the Border Bruins, but their passion for the game hasn’t changed.

Learning to swim is a lifelong skill that can benefit you for your entire life.

While it looked like the same old for the first two of the Grand Forks Border Bruins’ three games last week, there were some good signs in game three.

On Tuesday, Sept. 27, 14 ladies played “Dice Game.” Gisele Leclair, Fae Lee, Suzanne Kanuth and Nona Koochin won with 68.

A free senior’s luncheon will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Senior’s Hall in City Park. There will be two sittings to choose from; one at 11:30 a.m. or another at 1:30 p.m.

The defensive woes continued for the Grand Forks Border Bruins with a pair of double-digit-goal losses this past weekend.

If you are interested in playing the fastest of all racquet sports, come to the Grand Forks Secondary School gym on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 8 p.m.
