From July 22 to 24, approximately 75 cyclists will be competing in three BC Cycling sanctioned events: the Hill Climb, 40K Individual Time Trial and the 74K Road Race.

Many members of the Grand Forks Cycling Club will be racing as well and members have been training hard along Carson, North Fork and the Granby roads since March.

All rides start at Hutton School, go along 75th Avenue and north on North Fork Road.  The Hill Climb starts on Friday at 7 p.m. and goes up Hardy Mountain Road.

The Individual Time Trial starts Saturday at 10 a.m. and courses up the North Fork to Brown Creek and back.

The Road Race starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday and races up the North Fork across the bridge to kilometre 38 and returns down the Granby side to end at the landfill site.

The course will be flagged and vehicle drivers are asked to use caution on these roads during the race.  Please come out and cheer the yellow and black.
