Marie Karen Beliveau (Topley)
July 29, 1944 – September 9, 2015
It is with loving thoughts, grateful memories and heavy hearts that the family of Marie Beliveau announce her sudden passing on September 9, 2015. Marie is survived by her husband and best friend, Elmer; her sons, Craig (Jann) of Grand Forks, David (Sharon) of Olalla; and her daughter Cathy (Jerry) of Delta. Marie was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren, she also has a sister, Darlene (Don) of Surrey, and two brothers; Jim (Sandy) of Chilliwack and David (Christine) of Kelowna and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Marie was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Samuel, her daughter, Nancy in 2009 and her great grandchild, Sarah Marie in 2013.
Marie was born and raised in Chilliwack. After marrying Elmer they moved throughout the north of BC for two years then settled in Surrey for the next five years. It was then on to Grand Forks in 1969 where they have lived ever since.
Marie was a wonderful mother, a great cook, an avid gardener, an accomplished knitter and crochetter, and a computer whizz. She was famous for making teddy bears and repairing dolls. She was the family rock and selfless to the end. May Marie live on in the hearts of those who love her and whom she loved.
