There is Canadian content in the Grand Forks International baseball tournament title game as Team Canada beat the Thurston County Senators in its semifinal game.

The Canadians defeated the Senators 6-5 and await the winner of the Seattle Studs-Lewiston Paffile Truckers’ game, which is under way at James Donaldson Park in Grand Forks.

Lewiston has a big 6-2 lead at the bottom of the ninth inning.

The championship begins at about 2:30 p.m. PST this afternoon.
