A game between Winnipeg and Beaverdell up in Beaverdell last weekend. The Boundary Women’s Softball League's season is ending

The Boundary Women’s Softball League season is coming to an end.

As we all know, it’s been a particularly wet and cool spring, so some games have had to be postponed, but a lot of games have been played.

We are looking forward to our season wind up tournament on June 17, 18 and 19 at the Rock Creek Fall Fair Grounds.

Besides some great fast pitch games, there will be a concession stand, bavarian gardens and 50/50 draws.

There are five teams in the league; Beaverdell, Rock Creek, Greenwood, Winnipeg Pirates (GF) and M & M’s (GF).

The first two games of the tournament start on Friday night at 6:30, with one being played between the two Grand Forks teams in Grand Forks at the Angus McDonald Ball Park.

Back in Rock Creek, the games run all day Saturday and Sunday with the finals scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Come on out and cheer on your favourite team!
