It is hard to stay motivated to keep your exercise activities going when the days get shorter this time of the year. You can move it indoors to the pool and fitness room. Join the Shape Up class in the fitness room on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. or participate in the evening Aquafit classes that are held on Monday and Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m.

There is also the opportunity to swim laps throughout the evening hours.

A lap lane is available during the evenings throughout the entire week.

Saturday mornings are hopping here at the aquatic centre. Swim lessons for ages three years and up are offered between 9 and 11 a.m. along with the parent and tot swim and play program from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Success by 6 has generously sponsored this free program for parents and children to enjoy time at the pool for the next six weeks.

Happy Halloween! Come join us at the Grand Forks Aquatic Centre this Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. for our annual Spooky Swim.

Our high-energy creative staff has designed a scary haunted house that will be incorporated into the entrance of the pool.

There will be an alternative entrance for those who dare not to enter the haunted route. The two hours will be filled with many different activities such as pumpkin bowling, the walk of death and so much more. There will be draw prizes, participation prizes and goodie bags at the end of the night. Thanks to all the local businesses who donated goodies for the giveaway bags.
