The opening ceremony for the 2012 Grand Forks International baseball tournament takes place tonight, although games have already begun.
The ceremony takes place at 7:30 p.m. at James Donaldson Park in Grand Forks with the runner up of the Grand Forks Best Singer contest, Wendy Faulkner, singing the Canadian and American national anthems – Grand Forks Best Singer winner and Wendy's sister Missy Faulkner was not available.
A game between the Langley Sr. Blaze and the Kamloops Sun Devils will take place afterwards.
