The Grand Forks Border Bruins lost their second game in a row on Wednesday after giving up two late goals to the Osoyoos Coyotes to fall 6-5.

The teams were tied at 4-4 heading into the third period.

Lincoln Lane put GF up 5-4 with a goal at 14:37 of the third, assisted by Max Newton and Brandon Savaia.

Aaron Azevedo tied the game only 20 seconds later for Osoyoos paving the way for Colten Braid's game winning goal at 9:57 of the third for the Coyotes.

Dominic Stadnyk was in goal for GF and stopped 49 of 55 shots.

The game was originally set for Midway but was moved to Grand Forks in hopes of a bigger crowd.

With 140 in attendance, it appears that goal came to fruition.

GF has two tough road games this weekend with Nelson on Saturday and Spokane on Sunday.
