Local rink representing Kootenays at BC Juvenile Curling Provincials in Prince George

A curling rink from Grand Forks will be representing the Kootenays at the BC Juvenile Curling Provincials next week.

Zane Bartlett, Evan Turgeon, Jordan Field, Colin Anderson, Devin Anderson and coach Dave Bartlett will be representing the Kootenays at the BC Juvenile Curling Provincials in Prince George, B.C. from March 7 to 10.

The team travelled to Salmo for zone playdowns at the end of January.

Three teams from Invermere, Trail and Grand Forks played five games for a berth to the provincials.

Eight boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams from around the province will play for the provincial titles.
