The 2012 Junior/Senior Boys Basketball Classic took place this past weekend at Grand Forks Secondary School (GFSS).
The juniors won their Feb. 10 opener against Mount Sentinel by a final of 38-29 – Isiah McDonald led GFSS with 18 points.
The seniors also won their first game, defeating the Mount Sentinel senior team 71-66 – Brodie Hall led the seniors with 21 points.
The juniors defeated Oliver 49-43 Saturday morning while the seniors lost 60-47 to Summerland.
In the afternoon, the juniors lost 50-32 to J.L. Crowe while the seniors hammered J.L. Crowe by a 91-29 final.
