The Grand Forks Arena officially becomes the Jack Goddard Memorial Arena on Saturday, May 31 with a renaming ceremony.
The signs outside the building will be changed over and replaced with new signage bearing Goddard's name.
Jack Goddard, a former councillor and mayor in Grand Forks, was instrumental in bringing the arena project to fruition.
