Border Bruins' forward Seth Cory suffers wrist injury

There was a scary moment in the Grand Forks Border Bruins' game vs. Castlegar Friday night when F Seth Cory had his wrist cut by a skate.

There was a scary moment in the Grand Forks Border Bruins' game vs. the Castlegar Rebels Friday night (Jan. 6) when F Seth Cory had his right wrist cut by a skate.

According to Grand Forks Border Bruins trainer Dave Grootjes, Cory, who left the game early, suffered a laceration and was taken to hospital, where he received about 10 stitches.

Grootjes estimated that Cory will miss about two to three weeks.

The Border Bruins lost 10-0.
