Corky Evans, a former MLA from Nelson and a long-time minister of several portfolios including agriculture and food, spoke at a Save the Agriculture Land Reserve (ALR) rally Wednesday night at Selkirk College in Grand Forks.
Evans spoke for over an hour to a crowd of about 50 people and later answered questions from the audience.
The event was sponsored by the Grand Forks and Boundary Agricultural Society.
