I have lived in Grand Forks less than three years and I am impressed with the friendliness and caring of the community.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Gospel Chapel for its long-standing contribution to the community through its outreach program and the community care co-ordinator Karren Donald.
I understand Donald is going to retire in August and no replacement has been found.
I cannot imagine what next Christmas will be like for families that depend on receiving food or the Angel Trees for children without gifts.
I hope someone will step forward to fill the vacant position as Donald did a magnificent job. God bless Grand Forks.
