Letter: Volunteers needed at shelter

We have a beautifully strong base of volunteers in Grand Forks for our BETHS Cold Weather Shelter, but we need more, Garvin says.

We have a community quite bursting with volunteers and it is a lovely thing!

And we have a number of people in our area without an address, a bedroom or kitchen to call home. We are not to ask what has brought them to this place, but we know it is a time of hardship.

We have a beautifully strong base of volunteers in Grand Forks for our BETHS Cold Weather Shelter, but we need more, for we do not wish to burn out those who give 12-hour overnight shifts a couple of times a month. If you can see to step into this compassionate position, please either connect with Andre at Whispers of Hope, or call myself at 250-442-3092 or Steve at 443-9236. Thank you."
