To the citizens of Grand Forks, the area and the participants in the Grand Forks and District Fall Fair Parade, I offer two thumbs up to all.
Of special note were the participants from out-of-town, the Shriners and Kelowna’s “Spirit of the Lake” float.
To the City of Grand Forks’ council, two thumbs down for not bothering to participate, other than to hitch a ride on other floats.
Is it too much to expect the city to participate in an event that is trying to grow and promotes Grand Forks and area?
I hope not and I would expect a better showing next year.
