Letter: In praise of Stephen Hill

As a Boundary resident, I am glad to see the efforts of politicians, business people and residents to provide a) jobs for the community and b) protection for the tax base of the Midway village and the regional district.

The many meetings held to bring this to fruition appear to be spearheaded by Stephen Hill (Conservative), who is only a candidate for an (maybe) upcoming election.

What happened to our current federal representative from the NDP? I would have thought that Alex Atamanenko could have helped to bring some money or advice to the table but, apparently, he was nowhere to be seen.

It appears that the Boundary voted for the wrong party in the last election. Let’s make sure we get a mover and shaker into the House of Commons the next time around.
