Re: Cancer society using fear tactics (letter, March 21 issue of The Gazette)
In response to Lorne Hepworth’s letter decrying the Canadian Cancer Society for fear mongering about the use of lawn pesticides: You speak of “scientifically credible” studies.
You speak of “rigorous reviews.” You speak of “greater breadth of scrutiny.”
You speak of “expert scientists.” Unfortunately, there are many otherwise proven facts and it is extremely wise to always double check one’s facts.
Thank you, however, for representing your point of view.
