Re: Cancer society using fear tactics (letter in March 21 issue of the Grand Forks Gazette)
Our doctors’ organization is extremely disappointed to see the chemical industry attacking the Canadian Cancer Society. Goodness knows health authorities and industry lobbyists don’t agree on everything but all parties have a responsibility to engage in civil discourse.
The industry’s unfounded allegations – against one of Canada’s most respected and trusted health charities – are just beyond the pale. No one benefits when debate is carried on in this manner.
