My husband Jock and I haven’t bought our sheep yet but we would like to thank everyone for the great honour of being given the Freedom of the City of Grand Forks.

In this community, where so many people do so much, we were amazed and honoured to be singled out.

I was especially amazed that, with the rampant grapevine and in spite of all the devious efforts to get us to the art gallery, we heard nothing about it in advance.
