Yvonne was born to parents Harry Isaac Hutchings and Marie Genevieve Lachance. She worked for the Royal Bank of Canada from 1960 to 1971. During which time she met Ted James Tedesco in the fall of 1965. They married in August 1966. They moved to Grand Forks after their first daughter Michelle Marie was born in 1971, they had two more daughters Audrey Elizabeth in 1973, and Dawn Christine in 1976. Her family moved to Christina Lake in 1983 to a house that they built (with a lot of help from their friends), where they started the Lookout Mountain Ranch riding stables and a farm that raised their 3 daughters. Yvonne was famous for her baking, canning, gardening, and home making skills.
Yvonne moved back to Grand Forks in 1989. In 1990 she attended Selkirk College to become a Long Term Care Aide. A
Career that she continued for 11 years. Yvonne met her current partner Ralph White at a New Years Eve party in 2003. With whom she has traveled extensively, touching almost every continent on the planet. She hiked up Machu Picchu, swam with wild dolphins in the open ocean in Hawaii, toured Jerusalem during their holiest day, stood on glaciers in both the Arctic and Antarctic, watched Penguins on the Faulkland Islands, and bottle fed bear cubs in Yellowstone National Park, just to name a few. During this time she also achieved her Reiki III Master / Teacher Degree in the Reiki Method of Natural Healing. On September 11 2014 she entered the seniors games and successfully completed the 5 km walk. She truly had no boundaries that she could not cross.
Yvonne is survived by: Her Brother Bill Hutchings, Her Partner Ralph White, Her Uncle Frank in Quebec, Her three Daughters Michelle, Beth, and Dawn. Her two Granddaughters Madeline Marie; 4 years old and Violet Elizabeth; 2 years old, from California.
She will be missed by all who knew her, but extensively by her family.
