In Loving Memory ~
It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Yvonne Mattick.
She was preceded by her son Ricky (Mattick) Davis and her stepdaughter Laurie-Ann Mattick.
Yvonne was born in Vancouver to Harry and Mildred Smith. She lived in Deep Cove and the lower mainland for all of her youth. Yvonne married her husband, Earl Mattick, and started her family while living in Surrey. They moved to Grand Forks in 1992 with their family, where she enjoyed many years surrounded by family and friends.
She loved all her grandchildren to the fullest and was so proud of all their accomplishments.
Yvonne fought a tough battle with cancer and passed away on August 31, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She will be affectionately remembered by her devoted husband Earl, her caring children, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Earl and his family would like to express their thanks to the staff at the Boundary Hospital and the many other staff of Interior Health that supported Yvonne through this last chapter of her life. So, we would like to give her one more goodbye as her birthday nears, and thank our community as we remember her.
