Kenneth William O'Brian

July 10, 2019

October 7, 1936 - July 10, 2019
Born in New Brunswick and died in Grand Forks, B.C.
Predeceased by his parents, Abner and Thelma, his sister Marg, and one grandson Gordon, as well as by now most of his older family members.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy; his 4 daughters and families, Linda (Pat) Sheppard of Greenwood BC; Darlene (Bob) D'Lerma of Nanaimo, BC; Irene (Bill) Anderson of Kamloops, BC; and Diane (Mick) Trodden of Christina Lake, BC. He is also survived by 9 grand children, 14 great grand kids, many friends, nieces and nephews and 2 older brothers.
His life took him across Canada a few times, but he spent the last 50+ years in the Kootenay Boundary where he enjoyed hunting and fishing, quadding and just hanging out with family. He was a hard worker all his life and a very special kind of man who never complained about having to wait for the bathroom while raising 4 daughters with one bathroom. We will all miss him but will never forget him.
There will be a wake at his home so everyone can come by and share a memory or two and have a chance to formally say good-bye. This will be on August 24, 2019 during the afternoon (from 12 pm on).
He has been cremated as per his wishes and if you would like to just bring a dish for the potluck get-together on the 24th, please do.
