Bill was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he spent his early childhood. Around the age of 12 he travelled out west to be with his father and his second wife and family. Bill became a big brother to sister Eleanor, brother Arnold and his very special baby sister, Marlene. Bill relished in his role as big brother and those bonds remained strong through the years.
Bill worked many different areas throughout his young manhood which allowed him to travel pretty much all of Canada. It was his time out east working in Ontario in the telecommunications field that he met his loving wife, Jane. They were married on September 11, 1966. They relocated out west and settled finally in Fort Nelson, B.C., where Bill had a good job with CN Tel in the telecommunications.
They started their family later that year and welcomed their son, Carson Andrew Pring on December 11, 1967, whom Dad affectionately nicknamed Cap or Cappy. Two years later a sweet little girl named Angeline Tracy Pring joined and completed their family on October 13, 1969. She had the ability to batt her long lashes and melt her Dads heart. In 1992 Bill retired and he and Jane moved south to the beautiful little valley of Grand Forks where they remained up to Bills passing.
Bill was predeceased by his father Reginald, his mother Cecily and his very best friend George Adlington. Bill leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Jane Pring; his son, Carson (Connie) Pring and their sons, Kael and Carter; his daughter, Angie and her sons Nolan, Daelan and Jorden; his dearest friends, Kate Adlington and her sons George, Gordon and Bill and their families; his sister, Marlene (Kerry) Bissett and her families; his brother, Arnold (Jennifer) and his families; and his sister, Eleanor (John) Howe and her families.
Bill was a firm believer of education and he never stopped learning. Each day was full of new opportunities.
