Willa was born in 1936 at Spokane, Washington and passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on October 2, 2010, at Grand Forks, B.C.
She was predeceased by her mother, father, brother, two sisters, and one grandson. Willa is lovingly survived by her husband, four children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Willa was an active and gifted member of the Sunshine Quilters Guild where she was blessed and enriched by many wonderful friendships.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at 1:30 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, 2495 76th Avenue, Grand Forks.
A special thank you to her personal doctor, Boundary Hospital, Boundary Community Hospice, ER and Home Health nurses, First Baptist Church, Pastor John Siemens, Sunshine Quilters, and the many generous, gracious and loving friends and neighbors who demonstrated compassionate kindness to Willa and her family.
