It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Etson.
Born to Norman and Dorothy Etson, he grew up in Burnaby and New Westminster. Most of his career as a heavy-duty mechanic and mobile crane operator was spent moving all over BC and he finally retired and moved to Grand Forks in 1999.
He was a regular member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 59 and spent many afternoons with his friends as well as being an avid gardener.
Wayne passed away at his home at Hardy View Lodge with his wife, Fran and his daughter Kerrie by his side.
We would also like to thank the staff of Annesley Cottage at Hardy View Lodge aka "Wayne's Angels" for their loving support and care for both Wayne and his family. It is very much appreciated and will be forever cherished.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 15 year, Fran, his daughter, Kerrie as well as his stepdaughter Jennifer, her spouse Munir and step grandchildren Nesta and Aadil.
