Walter (Wally) Wolfram

October 15, 1936 – January 6, 2015

Wally peacefully passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Ann of 53 years, four children; Kelly, Darren, Rhonda and Harlen. Two grandchildren Corinna and Benjamin and great granddaughter Khloe, also brother Reinhold (Marie), sister-in-law Carol, nieces and nephews. Wally was predeceased by his brother Richard. Wally was born in Poland and at the age of two, his family settled in Alberta. As a young man Wally worked in the Alberta oil fields. He then farmed and worked in the trucking industry. In 1983 he moved his family to Langley, BC where he established Shade’s Transport Ltd. In 2004, Wally and Ann moved to Grand Forks, BC where they enjoyed retirement. Wally lovingly dedicated his life to his family, worked hard and always had a joke ready to put a smile on one’s face. He will be missed immensely and will live in his family hearts forever. A private family celebration of Wally’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker Family of Grand Forks Funeral Home gffh@shaw.ca.
