In loving memory of Walter Arishenkoff/Harris. Walter was born in Saskatchewan on November 28, 1928, to parents W.E and Annie Arishenkoff. The family lived on a farm in Kylemore, Saskatchewan. In 1943 the Arishenkoff family moved to Grand Forks, B.C. On April 14, 2014 Walter passed away peacefully in Chiliwack Hospital, with memories of this family by his side. Walter was predeceased by his parents, his wife Jean, the mother of his children, and in 2013 his great grandson, also by his sister Evelyn Ziben; and by her son Melvin. He is Survived by his daughters and husbands, Evelyn, Andy & family, Anne Marie, Robin & family, Gale, Gary & family, Marcia, Brent & family, Step daughter Cathy, Denis & family; and by his special & best friend Diane Purvis and by all his grand children. Also survived by his sister Molly Sofonoff & family, sister Vera and Harry Brooks & family, Brother Paul & family; and by many nephews and nieces and cousins. Now we bid farewell to our Captain of the tug boat, on your last journey as you sail away for the last time, on the ocean that you loved. May the winds of heaven blow gently over the waves and guide you to your everlasting peace and serenity. You will be forever in our hearts, and we all love you and you will be missed. Sleep in peace.
