It is with a sad heart that we announce Waldo Dahl's passing on May 29th, 2020 at the age of 83.
He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his 3 children and their families, (9 grandchildren and their spouses, and 2 great grandchildren), along with many friends and colleagues.
Waldo was predeceased by Anne, his loving wife of fifty eight years, an infant son, one sister in-law, one brother and one sister.
Waldo was a high school teacher and college professor of primarily math and science. During his thirty five year career he taught all over BC sharing his love of education.
Waldo taught in Williams Lake, Lytton, Grand Forks, Gibsons, SFU, & Northern Lights College.
Waldo retired in 1996 to enjoy and pursue his many other passions of farming, family, choir, horticulture dancing and attending community events.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the scholarship that Waldo and Anne helped initiate. Donations can be made through the Boundary Area Retired Teachers Association website www.phoenix-foundation.ca or mailed to Phoenix Foundation, Box 1012, Grand Forks, BC, V0H-1H0 or in person to the Grand Forks Credit Union.
