April 28, 2018 Vicki Irene "Frederickson" Feist passed away at the age of 71, at home with her family by her side, after suffering a stroke on April 20th.
Vicki has been a long-time resident of Rock Creek, BC for 55 years. Vicki was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on December 11, 1946 to Jeanne "Archibald" and Vergil Frederickson. She was married to Gerald on May 4, 1963 in Osoyoos, BC.
Vicki was very active with her children, grandchildren and had dedicated her life to being a full-time Volunteer for many societies within the area. She was active in Kettle Wildlife Association and KWA Trap, Rock Creek Community Medical Society, Kettle Valley Bursary and Scholarship Society, West Boundary Senior Housing as President and one of the founders of Parkview Manor in Midway, and also a Facilitator with the Alzheimer's Society and Respite Volunteer with Hospice.
Vicki will be lovingly remembered by her family, her best friend and devoted husband Gerald, son - Mark (Mary) Feist, grandchildren Dylan and Kimberly; daughter - Lisa (Wayne) Thomas, grandchildren Ashley (Sol) Kwong, and grandson Gary; daughter - Tina Hesketh, grandson Dakota (Jada) great-grandson Kody, granddaughter Katelyn; two sisters, one brother, many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Vicki was predeceased by her parents Vergil Frederickson January 20, 1962 and Jeanne Archibald Frederickson May 10, 2003.
A private cremation will take place. At Vicki's request there will be no memorial to follow.
