In Loving Memory ~
It is with the saddest of hearts we announce the passing of Vernon John Todoruk, on March 7, 2024.
Vernon lost his battle with cancer after eight years. He approached each treatment with optimism and an amazing attitude.
Left to mourn are his parents, Mary and Terry, wife Caroline, children Julian (Stacey), Piers (Mariel), Zarah, and Storm (Andrew), his grandchildren Mikaela, Callan, Cruz, Tripp and Romilly, brothers Gregory (Christine), Richard, and Douglas, brother-in-law Stephen (Tamara) Millar, nieces Israel (Robert) and Cameran (Jeremy) Millar, son-in-law Rocky Olsen and daughter Pearl, nephews Trevor and Travis Todoruk, Hunter Slack-Todoruk, great nephew Maverick, his many friends, and his beloved dog Margot.
Vernon was most passionate about his family and friends, and loved cycling, hockey, and music. He was a firm believer in living your legacy, and wanted to be remembered as a good person. Judging by the outpouring of condolences, we think he accomplished this.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank everyone for the wonderful phone calls, cards, flowers, gift baskets and hugs. Special thank you to Dr. Campbell, the oncology nurses Lana, Gaylene, and Nicole, and Clinical Operations Manager, Carol Milner for the care and support. He thought the world of you guys!
