Verna Wishlow was born on July 21, 1933 in Verigin, Sask and passed away peacefully; surrounded by her family, at home in Grand Forks on November 22, 2016. She is survived by her daughters
Verna Stooshnoff and Patricia Reid (Gordon), her sons Jim (Elizabeth) and Andy (Darlene). Grandchildren Kerry and Lianne Stooshnoff, Amy Robinson (Steve), David Reid (Nicole), Marissa and Nicholas Evdokimoff. Great grandchildren Dawson, Braelyn, Reid, Caitlyn and Erika.
Verna was well known for her generosity and was always there to listen. She (mother, grandmother, great grandmother (Baba) will be dearly missed by her family but are comforted that she is once again reunited with her true love Paul.
A funeral service was held at Grand Forks Funeral Home on Monday, November 28 with the burial following at Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Baker family of Grand Forks Funeral Home.
