Sunday, August 14th, Timothy Victor Martens went to sit outside under the oak tree overlooking the Granby River, his favourite place to sit, pray and think. There, he was welcomed by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ into his eternal rest.
Born November 25th, 1945 to George and Erna Martens, Tim was the middle child of five.
He is survived by his wife Eleanore, son Alan (Gloria), daughter Angela (Rick), grandsons Timothy, Isaac, Cameron and Treyton; brothers Ted and Abe, sisters Annette and Grace. Many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held at the river, 10000 North Fork Road on Sept. 4th at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pines Bible Camp would be appreciated.
