Tim was born to Alex and Gunhild Stone on March 9, 1955, in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Tim is survived by his wife Natalie; his children David (Alison), Rachelle, Garth (Misty), and Glenn (Julie), his wife Natalie's children Tasha, Sam and Christian, grandchildren Leon, Eli, Grace, Emma, Erza, Claire, Evelyn and Caleb.

He is also survived by his siblings George (Carolyn) and Linnea (Don) as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Tims is predeceased by his parents Alex and Gunhild, his first wife Debra, and Natalie's daughter Desiree.

Tim grew up in Alberta and settled in Silver Valley after marrying Debra Fox. They raised their family there and were very active in their community.

Tim farmed, did janitorial and oilfield vegetation control, coached hockey, and drove to countless tournaments. He filled out government forms and did taxes for many, serve as church treasurer, and served on several boards, including Savanna Lighthouse Assembly, Spirit River School Division, Savanna AG Society, Saddle Hill County, and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. Tim's most high-profile work was as reeve of Saddle Hill County, a role that he filled several years.

After Deb's death in 2013, Tim moved to Grand Forks. He married Natalie Zmurchyk and spent his retirement years doing extensive traveling and building a whole new network of friends. The result of time spent at the seniors' crib, the Gospel Chapel, and pretty much every one of the local coffee shops has been a wealth of friendships.

We will miss Tim's kindness generosity, interest, humour and encouragement.
