It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheila Holoboff. Sheila was born to Edith and Thornton Ciffe and grew up in New Westminster, B.C. After attending Normal School in Vancouver, Sheila moved to Grand Forks in 1946 to begin her teaching career. It was here that she met and married Peter Holoboff and raised their two daughters. In 1959 Sheila retired from teaching to open their business known today as the Tastie Treat. They operated the business until their retirement, employing three generations of family and many youth in Grand Forks. Sheila enjoyed sharing memories of their many loyal customers, staff and those that she had taught throughout her teaching career.

Sheila was predeceased by her husband Peter, her parents, as well as her brothers Jack and Ronald. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia (John) Jackson of Sparwood, and Evelyn (Gary) Kimmel of Grand Forks; grandchildren Sheri, James (Betty), Murray (Carie), Grant (Katie), Heather (Travis); great-grandchildren Alyson, Dayna, Ashley, Kyle, Kyra, Claire, Paige, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of another any day. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Lawrence (Marguerite) Holoboff and sister-in-law Jackie Cliffe along with numerous nieces

and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to Everett Baker of Grand Forks Funeral Home, gffh@shaw.ca.
