It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Sarah on December 23 2013.
On September 13, 1965, Sarah was born into a loving family. She grew up in Grand Forks and graduated high school here. She later moved to Calgary to complete her formal education as a secretary with a lightning speed typing speed of 110 wpm! Sarah worked for many years with Arthur Anderson Accounting and later with the Alberta Stock Exchange which became the TSX Venture Exchange.
Sarah had a great sense of humour and a loving approach to life, family and friends, notwithstanding the personal health challenges she experienced throughout her life.
Sarah’s greatest joys were family, friends and reading. Each of her friends shared a unique and special bond with her. We will truly miss her beautiful smile and her kind and generous heart.
Sarah is survived by her parents Alec and Doris Dutoff of Grand Forks, her sister Bev and family in Ontario including Sarah’s much loved nieces Alison and Holly. Sarah will also be missed by her grandmother Vera, aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Sarah Dutoff’s life was held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Calgary. We will plan something in Grand Forks at a later date.
