Ruth Ukrainetz passed away at Annesley Cottage May 23, 2013, with family and friends by her side. She was born in Kamloops, B.C., Nov. 30, 1929. Ruth is survived by three sons, Wayne, Darrel (Peggy), Byron (Brenda); sister Vicki (Ed); and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Ruth loved to garden and enjoyed socializingwith friends and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was involved in “Adra” and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
An open service was held at the Grand Forks Funeral Home Monday, May 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. and Ruth was laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery. We would like to thank all the nurses and her doctor, and close friends who took great care of her.
