November 10, 1931 - February 4, 2023
On Saturday, February 4, 2023, Mrs. Ruby Walker passed peacefully at South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 91 years.
Ruby was predeceased by her husband, John Edgar Walker and son, Howard Walker.
Ruby will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughter, Terri Brimacombe (Bryan) and grandchildren, Bobby & Rebecca Brimacombe; siblings Lily & Clarence Heinrich (Penticton), Lena Loyie (Langley), & Stan Buick (Quesnel); in-laws Harvey & Doris Walker (New Westminster), Charlotte & Jim MacFarland (Victoria) and numerous nieces & nephews.
Ruby enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, reading and playing the slots. Ruby was also known to be an excellent cook.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Myslek, the nursing staff at SOGH and at Heritage House.
No service by request. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
