It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Peter Rohatynchuk, announces his passing.
On Saturday April 14, Ron passed in the early morning with his daughter by his side, at the age of 64.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Pearl Rohatynchuk and his first wife Angela Kienas, Ron will be forever and lovingly missed by his 3 children, Scott Rohatynchuk, Monica Rohatynchuk (Elliott), Brent Rohatynchuk and the sparkle of his eye, his 3 grand daughters, Sydney, Olivia, & Sophia, and spouse of 21 years Rhonda Rohatynchuk.
Ron at the young age of 15 started working in the bush. He will be fondly missed in the logging industry as a hard working dedicated man. The bush was where his heart was and a passion for nearly 50 years.
His infectious smile from ear to ear when he told a joke to make the ones around him laugh will never be forgotten.
Ron would have turned 65 April 28.
A celebration of life will be held at the East Kelowna Hall, 2704 East Kelowna, Saturday April 28 at 2 pm.
A BBQ and dance will follow to celebrate Rons life and birthday with what he enjoyed most, good music and dancing.
In Ron's honour, wear your jeans and cowboy boots and get ready to dance the evening away.
