It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Stewart Darling on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Lillooet District Hospital at the age of 79 years.
He was born on January 26, 1938 in Montreal, Quebec. He served in various law enforcement roles during his life, including Military Police, Hamilton Wentworth Regional Police and Canada Customs.
He is predeceased by his wife, Henriette Darling, his granddaughter, Jaimee Darling, parents, Harold and Jean Darling and brother, Roy Darling.
He is survived by his children, Robert Darling, Angela (Brad) Szucs, Dianna (Arnie) Darling and Steven (Glenda) Darling, and his pride and joy, his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. The family will lay him to rest in Grand Forks, BC with his wife at a later date.
We miss you and will love and carry happy thoughts of you forever, Dad.
