It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Freeman, Dec.16, 2020, at the age of 73 yrs. old.

Predeceased by his father, Len, in 1984 and mother, Ida, in 1994 and sister, Diane Buckley, in 2016.
Bob was born and raised in Trail, B.C. He was an avid skier during the winters and spent summers at the cabin on Christina Lake. He was an Instrument Mechanic who worked overseas in North Africa, Australia, Alberta, Manitoba, Mackenzie BC, and returned to Trail where he retired in 2005 after 23 yrs spent at Teck Cominco.
In 1996, Bob and his family built a home and permanently moved to Christina Lake. "Captain Bob" enjoyed his many fishing, cruising and socializing trips with friends and family on the "TINTANIC" and teaching them all about Christina Lake, which he loved so dearly. He served on several boards over the years and loved being a contributing member of this great Community. He was a handyman and enjoyed helping people whenever he could.
Our family is so blessed and thankful to have the sincere words and gifts from our amazing community, it really means a lot that Bob has left his mark on so many people. He will be missed by his family and friends, many nieces, nephews, cousins and community.
Thank you to the Christina Lake first responders, Dr. Lewis and nurses at Grand Forks Boundary Hospital and the ICU Drs. and nurses at Kelowna General Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held in the form of a fishing derby at Christina Lake in the spring.
