Robert John Rooke

In loving memory ~
Born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., Bob always had a love for trucks. He started his apprenticeship in 1964 and was a heavy-duty mechanic until semi-retirement in 2008. He then moved on to his lifetime passion of truck driving including owning his own dump truck business. He had a great love for his family, spending time with them and sharing his knowledge with his grandchildren.
He loved his farms and the outdoors with horses, ATVs and snowmobiles. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Joanne, his sons Ramey (Shannon), Trevor (Quinn), Jason (Crystal), and all his grandkids Tyler, Austin, Chase, Evan, Ashtyn, Trevin, Colton, Emily, Savannah, Riley and
by his sister Bev and brother-in-law John.
There will be a celebration of life on: Saturday, December 17th, at 1 p.m. at the Grand Forks Funeral Home.
