Paul was born on June 12, 1930, at Buchanan, Saskatchewan, and entered into rest peacefully on May 18, 2011, at his home at Grand Forks, B.C., at the age of 80.
He was predeceased by his mother Helen (1960), his father John (1987) and brother Jake (2000).
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 59 years Verna; children: Verna Stooshnoff of Grand Forks, Jim Wishlow (Elizabeth) of Vancouver, Patricia Reid (Gordon) of Grand Forks and Andy Wishlow (Darlene) of Castlegar; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Paul was a long-time employee for 32 years to Pope & Talbot at Midway. He enjoyed family, woodworking and his many new gadgets.
A funeral service was held on May 22, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Grand Forks Funeral Home with a burial at the Evergreen Cemetery.
