In loving memory ~

Our dear Mother and Grandmother Olga Dowedoff has passed away at the age of 85 at Grand Forks, BC on March 28th. She will be lovingly missed. She is survived by her Spouse Fred Hadikin, two children William Dowedoff, Leah Stooshnov and grandchildren Jordan Stooshnov and Roshelle Stooshnov.

Olga was born in Grand Forks, BC on March 22nd, 1940, grew up in Midway BC and spent her entire life in the Boundary area where she met and married Bill Dowedoff, who passed away many years back. Olga eventually met Fred Hadikan in 1982 a very kind and caring person who filled her heart with love, joy and trust. They spent many years traveling on many holidays across BC and the US, returning with many stories and pictures of their adventures. She had two brothers Peter Popoff and John Popoff who both passed away recently.

She loved her garden, both her and Fred took great pride in, which always grew with much abundance, the food grown was shared with many people, especially family. She loved to cook and bake; the fridge was always full. Fred took great pride in helping her in all ways. Olga loved her grandchildren placed much effort, care and specially love to steer them in a good direction of life. She was grateful to witness and experience the company of her great-grandchildren who enjoyed a walk through the garden. She enjoyed the visits of Fred's children Micheal Hadikin and Michelle Hadikin and their children, her stepson and daughter. Olga was always amazed at the world, especially the stars at night and wondered about the universe and now she is a brilliant star in the sky shining light on all of us.
