Nona Koochin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother Nona Koochin. Nona passed away on May 25, 2022 at Hardy View Lodge, in Grand Forks, BC.
Nona was predeceased by her husband William Koochin in 2004 and is survived by her children, Danial Koochin, Kenneth (Shelly) Koochin, and Grandson Kyle Koochin as well as her sister Luba (Larry) Stoochnoff, and brother Louis (Nila) Hoolaeff .
Nona is also survived by her sister-in-law's Janie Koochin, Florence Swart, Mary (Nick) Spina and Alice Koochin as well as her brother-in-law Tom (Sandra) Koochin and many nieces and nephews.
Nona was an active member in the Grand Forks community, volunteering for the USCC and Boundary Hospital in many capacities. She loved to socialize with friends and family, travel abroad with her sons, play ball and golf.
The service will be held at the USCC in Grand Forks on Saturday, June 4, 2022 @ 10 am, public welcome.
