October 27, 1956 - June 15, 2018
It is with heartfelt sorrow that Larry Ringheim announces the sudden passing of his wife, best friend, soulmate, and guiding light Nelda, which occurred at their rural home near Holbein, Saskatchewan on June 15, 2018.

Nelda is survived by Larry, son Nathan, sisters Sharon, Maureen, Lorraine and Charlene, and brother Darrell. She is predeceased by parents Hans and Cora Juergens of Enderby, B.C., and in-laws Mel and Rose Ringheim of Grand Forks, B.C.

Nelda was born on the Queen Charlotte Islands, B.C. on October 27, 1956 and moved with her family throughout B.C. and Alberta until settling in Grand Forks. Nelda and Larry were married on October 23, 1987 in Enderby where their son Nathan was born.

They then moved to Lethbridge, AB where they both attended college. They returned to Enderby for a few more years until moving to Beaverdell, B.C. where they purchased a small undeveloped acreage and built a home there from the ground up. They remained there for several years until moving to the Prince Albert, SK area. Nelda conducted numerous home based businesses and became involved in the real estate market and Larry took employment with the Provincial government.

Nelda was a hard working, energetic, enthusiastic creative free spirit, unencumbered by the 'Status Quo' with great vision and intuition. She was always on a quest for knowledge and was passionate about learning new things and mastering them. During their life together, Nelda and Larry always supported one another's goals and ambitions. Their life together had many ups and downs but they always overcame the obstacles and moved on. She was always supportive and inspiring, and was the voice of common sense and reason to family and friends in times of crisis.

Nelda truly adored her little family, their horses, dog and cats, and had many interests; she was an avid gardener, multi-media artist, computer graphics expert, horsewoman, motorcyclist, sharpshooter, camper and fisher. She always looked ahead to the next 'great adventure'.

But above all else, she was cherished by her family and close friends, and we are better for having had her in our lives.

A celebration of Nelda's life was held at their home on June 21 2018 for close friends and family.
