On Tues., Dec. 19, surrounded by his adoring family ~ Connie's beloved husband, Sukie & Liddie's most excellent father, Silas, Acina & Rayan's superior Pappy, Laurie and Andrew's wonderful father-in-law, kind hearted brother-in-law, sweet cool uncle, 'dad' to Amber, high quality human being and friend calmly and peacefully left his body behind to explore other realms.
Our hearts are broken, but we are grateful for his release from suffering.
Mike lived his life with inspiration, focus and self motivation. Never idle, ideas came to Mike like water flows in the springtime. Artistic talent was part of his nature, coming through in everything he did - not just in drawing, painting sculpting, carving and photography, woodworking, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, home renovation, running a skateboard shop & indoor skate park, coaching kids sports, hockey, volunteering, steel fabricating, water well drilling or being maintenance supervisor at Boundary Lodge, Mike always did every job, to the best of his ability and always sought ways to improve.
Family carried the most meaning to Mike, of all of his long list of accomplishments. Spending quality time with his cherished grandson and granddaughters, was always joyful & uplifting!
Mike thanked his good fortune for Liddie & Sukie, being his precious children. Mike lived a peaceful lifestyle and was a happy man to the very end.
Our hearts are aching, but, we are forever grateful for Mike's presence, he enriched each and all of us. We were truly blessed to be Mike's family.
The love Mike shared will live on through our lives. We Love you as big as the sky! So long for this one, you made it a wonderful life for us, too!
The celebration of Mike's life, will be announced at a later date.
