It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maurice Roland Rivet.
He passed away on January 31, 2018 at the hospital in Trail, B.C. with Michael his son by his side.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Karen, father Gilbert Rivet, mother Georgette and brother Raymond Rivet.
Survived by his son Michael (Pam and grandson Rowan), sister Jeannine Badry (Vern), Paul Rivet (Pat), Laurier Rivet (Virginia), sister-in-law Irene Rivet and many nieces and nephews.
Maurice was a business man for many years. Upon his retirement he took his family to Christina Lake and became owner, manager of Willow Beach Resort. Upon the passing of his wife Karen, Maurice and Michael moved to Grand Forks.
He was a very proud grandfather and spent many hours with his son and grandson Rowan. His outgoing personality will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.
Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Forks on April 21, 2018 at 1 p.m.
