May 17, 1953 - February 11, 2021
In Loving Memory ~ It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Maurice Paul Bosovich on February 11, 2021 at the age of 67 years. He died peacefully at his home, the "Boss Ranch" where there was no other place he wanted to be and where he spent his childhood and later years.
He leaves behind his three beautiful daughters: Launie (Kip), Morrisa (Shawn) and Natasha (Clint); seven grandchildren: Makayla and Hunter, Trey, Hailey and Payton and Katelynn and Rachel.
He was predeceased by his father Peter Bosovich in 1971; his mother Stephania Bosovich in 2018 and grandson SJ in 2012.
Dad's first love was his logging truck. He quit school in Grade 10 as he said he would be in class staring out the window of the classroom daydreaming about driving one. That was the end of it and he spent the next 40 years driving that logging truck and loving the camaraderie of his trucking friends.
He was the hardest working man we knew and was always quick to lend a helping hand or a piece of advice to anyone (even if they didn't ask for it).
Dad loved to tell stories and if you could pull him off his truck, loader or tractor long enough for a coffee, it was quite the conversation trying to figure out who he was talking about as he nicknamed everyone which then related to another story and lots of laughs (real belly laugh) especially with the use of his "colourful" words.
You could catch him listening to music and expecting a quick dance around the kitchen if the mood was right.
He spent the last years of his life on the Ranch that he loved so much in the Christian Valley. With the help of his daughters, his close neighbours ("The Bubble"), many friends and family, he was able to be where he wanted. He will be missed by many!
"Remember me with smiles and laughter for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all."
