Margot Duncan (Lyons) Storjeoff passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of March 25, 2017 after a lengthy period of painfully failing health.

She was born in Ottawa on February 11, 1946 and moved to North Vancouver in 1971. She married her husband George Storjeoff in 1979 and retired to a hobby farm in Grand Forks in 1991. She made many wonderful friends while she worked at the Sunshine Valley Little People’s Day Care Centre. She loved her dogs, cats, horses and vegetable, fruit and flower gardens. She made the best butter tarts in BC.

Margot is predeceased by her parents Harry and Jean (Laprade) Lyons and her husband George.

She is survived by her brothers David (Diane), Richard and Robert, sisters Nancy (Duane) Allison and Kathleen Lyons, stepchildren Michelle Morissette, Randy (Carrie) and Casey (Barb) Storjeoff, and grandchildren Julian, Daniel, and Ryley.

No service as requested. Interment will be at a later date in Ottawa. May she rest in peace.
